Returns & Refunds
At Pretty Pink Jewellery, we hope you love your purchase. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we are happy to offer returns in accordance with your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Returns Eligibility
You have 14 days from receiving your order to notify us that you wish to return your item. Once your return is authorised, you have a further 14 days to send the item back to us.
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- unworn, unused, and in the same condition in which they were received;
- returned with all original packaging, tags, and presentation materials; and
- accompanied by proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back unless instructed to do so by our team.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed, or not fit for purpose.
Non-Returnable Items
For reasons of hygiene and customer safety, all pierced earrings, including earring pendants and earring sets, are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable unless faulty.
Gift cards are non-refundable.
Personalised, bespoke, customised, or made-to-order items created specifically to a customer’s requested specifications are non-refundable and non-exchangeable unless faulty.
Partial Refunds
In certain circumstances, only partial refunds may be granted, including where:
- jewellery is returned with signs of wear, damage, or alteration not present at the time of sale;
- items are incomplete or missing original packaging; or
- returns are made outside the stated return period without prior agreement.
Refund Process
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you by email to confirm receipt of the item and whether your refund has been approved.
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within a reasonable number of working days. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or card provider.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund, we recommend first checking with your bank or credit card provider, as processing times can vary.

Sale Items
Sale or promotional items are non-refundable unless faulty, damaged, or not as described in accordance with your statutory rights.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you believe your item is faulty and would like to request an exchange for the same item, please contact us at hello@prettypinkjewellery.com.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to you, you may receive a gift credit for the value of your return.
If the item was not marked as a gift, or the order was shipped to the purchaser before being gifted, any refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable. If a refund is approved, return shipping costs may be deducted from the refund amount where applicable.
For items valued over £50, we recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
Packaging & Shipping
Sustainable Packaging
At Pretty Pink Jewellery, we are committed to thoughtful and environmentally conscious packaging wherever possible.
For fragile orders, we may use bubble wrap or air-filled protective packaging. However, we do not purchase new plastic packaging materials. Any plastic protection used is carefully reused from incoming deliveries or donated packaging supplies.
Our packaging materials primarily include:
- recycled card and paper stock;
- paper tape;
- biodegradable shredded timber filling; and
- biodegradable foam chips.
Every order is packaged with care to ensure it arrives safely while minimising unnecessary waste.

UK Shipping
All UK orders are shipped from Edinburgh, Scotland via Royal Mail.
Our delivery charges contribute towards:
- Royal Mail shipping services; and
- the cost of sustainable and protective packaging materials.
Orders are typically packed and dispatched within 1–2 working days (Monday–Friday). You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been placed and again once it has been dispatched.
Tracked shipping services will include a tracking number sent by email.

International Shipping
Yes — we ship internationally.
All international orders are sent using a Royal Mail Tracked service where available.
Please note that customs duties, taxes, import fees, and handling charges may apply depending on your country’s regulations. These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.
For customers in the United States, applicable import duties and taxes are currently covered by Pretty Pink Jewellery.
For orders shipped to other international destinations:
- orders valued between €10 and €150 may incur import VAT/tax and handling fees;
- orders over €150 may also incur customs duties in addition to local taxes and handling charges.
Delivery charges for international orders are based on Royal Mail pricing across different world zones.
