If you’ve been following my journey for a while, you’ll know it’s been quite the ride! From my very first shop in Morningside, then my second in the Borders — it feels like a lifetime ago now. After eight amazing years of having physical shops, I decided to take a big leap and move everything online. That’s when I started focusing more on wholesale and teamed up with my lovely business partner, Amalia.
Those years were honestly incredible. We built something we were both so proud of — our jewellery made its way into shops all across the UK (and even a few abroad!), and we had countless adventures at trade shows, meeting so many wonderful people along the way.
After nearly seven years together, Amalia decided to take a new path in her life and pursue a different career. We parted ways on the best of terms, and I couldn’t be happier for her. Still, it was a big moment for me — suddenly, I found myself back on my own again, navigating what comes next.
And that’s where I am now: standing at another crossroads, but feeling excited (and a bit nervous, if I’m honest) about what’s ahead. I’m now running two creative businesses — the jewellery brand you all know, and my illustration work, which I’ve been quietly growing on the side for the past few years.
To keep everything flowing and make sure I still love what I do every day, a few changes are happening. I’ve been chatting with some amazing artists about running mindful creative workshops at the studio on weekends — something I’ve wanted to do for ages! I’m also planning to launch some online courses, which feels both thrilling and slightly terrifying (in a good way!).
And the big news on the illustration side — I'm in the process of joinning a fantastic art agency! It still feels a bit surreal, but I’m so excited about where it might lead. I’ll share more as things unfold, promise.
As for jewellery, don’t worry — that’s not going anywhere. I’ll still be designing, making, and adding new styles and materials to the site regularly. The only big shift is that I’ll be travelling a little less for trade shows this time around — more time to create, less time packing boxes!
So yes, lots of change — but all good things. It feels like a new chapter, and I’m genuinely excited to see what comes next.
Thank you, truly, for being here and for following along all these years. Your support means more than I can ever say. 💛
